Word Templates.

CAN WE USE PREFORMATTED DOCUMENTS IN MICROSOFT WORD 2003?

In other words can we base our document on a template
which already contains a basic structure as well as settings such as:

  • Page Layout
  • Styles
  • Size and Colour of font

The answer is Yes.


 

A selection of Professional Word Templates are available on your computer.

Word Templates are also available on line - see below.

How do we find these templates? Click on 'File' then 'New' and refer to the Task Pane on the right.

Click Word Templates File Iconand Word Templates New File

This will open the Word Templates New Document Task Pane on the right hand side.

Templates are available from Word Templates

Click Word Templates On My Computer and the "Templates" dialogue box appears.

Note the tabs across the top which give you a selection of Templates for Calendars, Resumes, Faxes etc...
