Selecting text with the Mouse?
Selecting a single word
To select the word "primary" place the mouse to either the left or right of the word and click and drag the mouse over the word.
This is called "painting" the word.

When you release the mouse, the word will be highlighted. This is an example of selecting text. |

If it happens that we highlight either too much or too little do not release the mouse but continue to "paint" over the desired area until we achieve our objective. |

Try it. Alternatively: Double click the word with the mouse and the word will be highlighted. Selecting a sentence. To select the sentence beginning with "He had been looking?.. place the mouse at either the beginning or ending of the sentence and paint over the sentence. When you release the mouse the sentence will be highlighted. Alternatively: Click anywhere in the sentence whilst pressing the . Try it.
