Fonts For Microsoft Word

We showed you above how to do a simple Search and Replace.

This section is about more complex SEARCHING AND REPLACING text in MICROSOFT WORD 2003 (Example Fonts For Microsoft Word)

Click then and this dialogue box opens

fonts for Microsoft Word

Type "Fonts For Microsoft Word" in the Find What box
and click "More" to see more search choices.

The Dialogue Box now expands like this:

fonts for Microsoft Word

If we wish to search the entire document do not highlight any area and by default
the entire document will be searched.

Some of the other Search choices are as illustrated below:

  • Up - Search from the Insertion Point to the top of the document
  • Down- Search from the Insertion Point to the bottom of the document
  • Match Case- Search only for text whose case matches the search text
  • Use Wildcards- e.g. "h?m" will find him, hum, hem,ham etc..
  • Sound Like- Search for words which sound like our search words
    "Microsoft Word Fonts"
  • Find all word forms- Search for all forms of the word (sit/stand sat/stood)

The best way to learn is to experiment yourself with these search choices

Sample Text "Adding Fonts For Microsoft Word to your document and Special Characters too

If we were to search for the word "to" and had "Sounds like" ticked
the search would also return the word "too".
